For 25 years, one of the most important international bouldering meetings has been held between Val Masino and Val di Mello. A place that gathers people from all over the world, and in 2025 they gathered from May 7 to 10. Melloblocco began in 2004 as a sporting event open to all fans of the discipline.

From professionals to amateurs, including children and families who wish to spend a week in the picturesque places of these valleys. Participants measure themselves among the many granite boulders scattered in the magnificent natural scenery, among forests and meadows, streams and waterfalls. This area represents the largest protected area in Lombardia, Italy: since 2009 the Regional Council has unanimously approved the establishment of the Val di Mello Nature Reserve.
