More than merch: Atlantis brings stories and style to ONA 2025.

Atlantis Headwear renews its support as a sponsor of the ONA Short Film Festival '25, once again believing in the power of visual storytelling and in stories that deserve to be told. We presented our short film "Pueblo del Sol": a visual tale about connection with nature and the creation of community. This year too, to round out our participation, we provided the official event merchandise.

The Partner
company name: ONA Short Film Festival
typology: Film Festival
sector: Cinema

ONA is a short film festival dedicated to sports, tackling social, educational, and value-driven themes. It takes place every September on the island of San Servolo in Venice: an international setting that draws in participants and creatives from around the world, ready to bring powerful stories to the stage: stories that deserve to be told and heard.
For the 2025 edition, after four years of collaboration, we decided to go beyond supporting the event through the production of official merchandise. This year, we created an original short film: Pueblo del Sol”, shot in Chile. At Atlantis, we strive to share real stories, ones that raise awareness and connect us to the environmental and social issues of our time.

The Challenge

The challenge was to listen to and interpret the very clear vision of the organizers. From the very beginning, it was clear they were looking for more than just a simple giveaway. They wanted something that could represent an identity: that of the event, the stories being told, and the people involved.

The hat needed to speak a visual language aligned with the outdoor world, while also reflecting the deeper soul of the festival, a common thread made of storytelling, values, and human connection.

We worked to find the right balance between aesthetics and functionality: from selecting the models and colors to customizing the final details. The goal was creating an item that festival participants would wear with pride.
A stimulating process that helps transform a piece of clothing into a tool for expression and a symbol of belonging.

The Journey

After an initial phase of testing and comparison, we selected two distinct yet complementary models, designed to meet the diverse needs of Festival participants. It wasn’t just about choosing a hat that looked good, but it was about finding the right balance between functionality, identity, and sustainability.

Pico: a compact, lightweight, and practical bucket hat. Made from recycled, water-resistant nylon, it’s perfect for those who experience the outdoors in an active, dynamic, and conscious way. The adjustable drawcord makes it ideal for high-movement activities and windy environments.

Digg-s: a timeless classic of urban culture, a 6-panel unstructured cap reimagined with a sustainable twist. Its clean design and natural fabric make it a versatile accessory, perfect for those who prefer a more casual style, with an eye on environmental impact.

This selection represents two distinct sides of the same event: one more active, adventurous, and technical; the other more minimal and urban.
